MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Freshman Kelsey Weinkauf (Elkhart, Ind./Jimtown) won her matches at No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles as the MSOE women's tennis team fell to Wisconsin Lutheran 6-3 at McKinley Courts.

The Raiders (1-2) also got a win from senior Ashley Albrecht (Brookfield, Wis./Central), but it was not enough against the Wariors (1-3).

Weinkauf moved to 2-0 on the young season at No. 4 singles, defeating WLC's Susannna Harbach 6-3, 6-1. She also paired with sophomore Melanie Avery (Bollingbrook, Ill./Neuqua Valley) for a win at No. 3 doubles, 8-5, over Bethany Soderlund and Amanda Pearson.

MSOE also scored at No. 5 singles, where Albrecht picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win over Pearson. Albrecht also improved to 2-0 on the year in the No. 5 slot.

The Raiders return to action Saturday with a pair of conference matches in the Chicago area. They will take on Dominican at 10 a.m. and Concordia Chicago at 2 p.m.
