MILWAUKEE – Senior Marly Trier won her singles match against Lawrence and picked up a doubles point against Edgewood to lead the MSOE women's tennis team as the Raiders opened their home schedule with a pair of 8-1 losses Wednesday at McKinley Courts.
Trier played in the No. 2 singles slot against the Vikings in the morning and picked up the 7-5, 6-2. Against the NACC-foe Eagles in the second match, she teamed with freshman Carly Grant at No. 1 doubles and scored a 9-7 victory.
MSOE returns to action Sunday in a triangular hosted by Alverno. The Raiders will take on Beloit at 10 a.m. and Roosevelt at 2 p.m. at Nicolet High School.
