Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's soccer kept rolling on Wednesday night. They traveled to take on Marian in NACC play and came away with their ninth straight win thanks to a 5-1 defeat of the Sabres.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 5
Marian – 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (9-2-0, 5-0-0 NACC) opened up the scoring with a McKayla Zastrow header off an Emma Halverson pass in the 12th minute and were off to the races from that point on.
- While the Red & White didn't score again until the second half, they would rattle off four more unanswered tallies in that frame starting with an Addison Spilman goal off a Grace Quinn assist.
- Quinn would assist on the next one as well, a Jill Ruark goal that found the back of the net just 33 seconds after Spilman's.
- Louisa Essuman and Theresa Bueckers wrapped things up for the Raiders with Hailey Mallow helping out on Essuman's score.
- Marian (3-5-1, 3-2-0 NACC) finally got on the board in the 63rd minute but it wasn't nearly enough as the Raiders cruise past them by four.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have gone 9-1 in their last ten matches against the Sabres.
- Louisa Essuman needs just one more assist to enter the top ten in single season program history.
