WAUWATOSA, Wis. –  MSOE women's tennis began their quest for a NACC tournament title when they traveled to take on Wisconsin Lutheran in the first round. Unfortunately, the quest was short lived as the Warriors swept the Raiders on Monday morning.
 MATCH SCORE
 No. 5 seed MSOE RAIDERS – 0
 No. 4 seed Wisconsin Lutheran – 5
 HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (6-13, 5-4 NACC) played Wisconsin Lutheran (11-10, 6-3 NACC) tough in doubles action. All three matches were competitive with the lowest final score being 8-4. The teams of Brenna Sheehan/Bethany Noonan and Gabrielle Haensgen/Michaela Haensgen were the Raiders best hope, but both fell 8-5.
- Unfortunately, the Raiders didn't fare much better in singles play. The Red & White won only a single set out of the six games when Sheehan won 6-0 in the first frame, but the rest of the battle would go unfinished since the Warriors reached the necessary five points to take home the match.
WHAT'S NEXT
The 2021-22 Raiders season has officially concluded. They finished 6-13 overall and went 5-4 in NACC play.
