GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Heading to the other side of Lake Michigan, the MSOE women's cross country team toed the line against top of the line out of region competition, resulting in the top three runners running personal best times en route to a fifth-place team finish.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Ella Kwaterski, her second straight race leading the Raiders, finished in 18
th place with a new career best time 24:13.2.
Alexis Dorner and
Sophia Wong were next in for the Raiders, each with personally bests, finishing in 24
th place (24:50.3) and 26
th place (24:58.2), respectively.
Elizabeth Madden was the next Raider through the chute in 42
nd place in 26:09.2, while rounding out the top five was
Ada Parker in 57
th place, running 27:47.0
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will be back in two weeks, Saturday, October 18
th, for their final tune up before championship season at the Augustana Interregional Invitational. The race is set to start at 11:45 a.m.
