MILWAUKEE – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced this year's Academic All-District teams for men's soccer for the 2025 season, with six members of the MSOE men's soccer team earning this distinction.
As a student, all athletes must have a 3.5 or above in order to be nominated for CSC Academic All-District recognition. The three will now be moved forward to the CSC Academic All-America ballot for a chance to receive first or second team recognition, which will be announced on December 16th.
Tanner Cellio,
Adrian Manchado,
Asher Harris,
Braeden Roth,
Steven Thomas, and
Owen Gendrich earned All-District honors and all will move to the Academic All-America ballot.
Manchado led the group of six offensively, scoring eight goals with three assists as a defender, earning a player of the week honors named first-team all-conference. Cellio led the team in minutes with 1,688 in the midfield with three goals and an assist, also earning first-team all-conference honors. Harris was the leader in goal for the Raiders before his season ended due to injury, allowing just ten goals with .808 save percentage and allowed just .70 goals per game. Roth, Thomas, and Gendrich were key contributors off the bench as they combined for four goals and nine assists.
The Raiders finished the season with an overall record of 14-6-3, while finishing 8-3-1 in conference play. Being voted second in the preseason, the Raiders finished fourth in the regular season but shutout opponents en route to their third straight conference championship game appearance and second-straight conference title and NCAA tournament berth.
