HOW IT HAPPENED
- After MSOE (5-1, 1-0 NACC) and Dominican (3-2, 0-1 NACC) exchanged baskets to open the contest, the Raiders would go on a 7-0 run in the opening minutes of the first quarter, building their lead to as much as nine points after a couple of free throws from Halena Hill with 2:29 left in the frame. After taking the 13-4 lead, the Raiders' lead would evaporate by the 8:19 mark of the second quarter, as the Stars knotted the game up at 17-17. - Coming out of the halftime break, the Raiders got right to work as their lead eclipsed double digits on a three pointer from Hill on the opening possession of the second half.
