ADRIAN, Mich – The MSOE men's hockey team took on the #3 team in the country Adrian College on Friday night as the Raiders looked poised to upset the Bulldogs early, but would fall after four unanswered goals from the opposition.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was MSOE (6-3-1, 4-2-1 NCHA) that jumped in front of #3 Adrian (7-2-0, 5-2-0 NCHA) with Carson Jones tallying the first goal of the game, just 3:28 into the contest, giving MSOE the lead for nearly three minutes before the Bulldogs netted the equalizer. After assisting on the first goal of the game, Seth Bernard would record a goal of his own on a rebound from Jones, giving the Raiders the lead once more by the midway point of the first period. The Bulldogs would register two goals in less than two minutes as the intermission drew closer, with the Raiders trailing 3-2 at the break.
- After playing over fifteen minutes of scoreless hockey to start the second period, the Bulldogs would once again find the back of the net, before adding another with just eighteen second left in the frame to put MSOE behind 5-2 at the second intermission. The Red and White would outshoot the Bulldogs in the third period but were unable to find the back of the net as MSOE fell to their conference rival by a score of 5-2, with a chance to even the series tomorrow night.
