LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The MSOE men's tennis team rolled on with the fall portion of their schedule on Thursday afternoon, as the Raiders were shut down in their first road match of the season by the Lake Forest College Foresters.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders took every doubles match to the limit, dropping each set by no more than two games. The Raiders #2 team of Clark Rue and Miguel Lopez forced the Foresters to a twelfth game but fell 5-7 as LFC opened with a 1-0 lead.
- Despite winning many games and a few sets, the Raiders were unable to get on the scoreboard against the formidable Foresters. Augusto Eiji Yamazaki and Carlos Patino forced their matches to go to a third set super-tiebreaker, but the Red and White came up short as they build towards the ITA Regionals, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota.

The Raiders will reach the midway point of their fall schedule this Sunday, September 14
th when they host the Judson University Eagles at Nicolet High School in Glendale, Wis.
