WHITEWATER, Wis. – The MSOE men's track & field team was back in action Saturday, competing at the Karl Schlender Invitational, hosted by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Raiders swept the throws along with an event on the track.
RECAP
- Kylie Crum came away victorious in the weight throw, tossing 15.90 meters, putting her 33rd nationally. Josephine Jackin came in third in 15.09 meters, with Jessa Alderman right behind her in fourth in 15.00 meters. Alderman finished the throws sweep, claiming victory in the shot put in 13.50 meters, as Jacklin took second in 12.90 meters.
- Ella Kwaterski and Ada Parker went 1-2 in the 5,000-meter run, with Kwaterski finishing in 19:48.38 and Parker in 21:39.09. The group of Elizabeth Madden, Sophie Wong, Maddie Griffith, and Alexis Dorner finished sixth in the distance medley relay, running 14:22.12. Gillian McDaniel over in the jumps finished fifth in the long jump, leaping 4.75 meters.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders head back to University of Chicago next Saturday, January 31
st for the Windy City Rumble. Action is set to begin at 11:00 a.m.
