MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's basketball team would not be denied Saturday night, defeating a physical Concordia University Wisconsin squad, with Jonathan Burroughs putting up a career-high 29 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After Concordia Wisconsin (10-10, 8-5 NACC) made the opening bucket, MSOE (13-7, 11-2 NACC) took the lead two scores later as the game stayed one possession until seven minutes in. Down 14-13, the Raiders went on 9-0 run to lead by eight until the Falcons cut it back down to two with 8:50 to go in the half. Joey Jendusa attacked the paint closing out the half, including two threes from Jonthan Burroughs put the Raiders in the driver's seat at the half, leading 52-41.
• Coming out of the break, the Falcons utilized the paint to tie up the game at 65 with 11:50 to play. A three from Chase Cummings broke up the Falcons' run to grab the lead back as Burroughs went iso on four straight possessions to go ahead by six, with Mason Dopirak and Jendusa each driving as well to lead by ten with 4:42 to go. A massive three from Dopirak had the Kern Center rocking with 2:23 to go up 93-80 as he was not done, putting one up off balanced with 32 seconds, putting the finishing touches on the game.
