MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced the preseason poll for the 2026 baseball season, with MSOE atop of the poll.
The Raiders, who captured both the regular season and tournament title last season, led the poll with 18 first place votes, ahead of Aurora in second, who received five votes. Benedictine and Edgewood were third and fourth respectively, each receiving first-place vote. Concordia Chicago, Concordia Wisconsin, and Marian were voted fifth, sixth, and seventh respectively, while Rockford rounded out the top eight, also receiving a first-place vote.
The Raiders return six all-conference performers from a season ago, highlighted by
Christian Bosque who received first-team honors, along with third-team all-region honors by D3Baseball and ABCA. Bosque hit .357 with 45 RBIs and swiped 35 bases, leading the team from behind the plate.
AJ Le, who led the team in batting average (.365) and OPS (1.010), was named third-team all-region by ABCA and had 44 RBIs and slugged .563. On the mound,
Zach Brzezinski returns to lead the rotation, having an ERA of 3.60 and a WHIP of 1.20 with an overall record of 4-0 in 12 appearances.
The Raiders head to the Pacific Northwest this weekend to kick off their season, facing Pacific University on Friday, February 20
th and Willamette University the following day. The Raiders open NACC play a month later on Saturday, March 21
st at Dominican before having their home opener that following Wednesday, March 25
th with Marian University coming to Glendale.
