HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-4, 0-0 NACC) struck first for the first time this season as Ashlyn Bode rifled one in just 51 seconds in for the early advantage. Lilly Johnson and Joce Katte added in a goal each to put the Raiders ahead 3-0 less than four minutes in before Elmhurst (2-4, 0-0 CCIW) got on the board a minute later. Katte scored her second of the game with 9:57 remaining in the first with Chloe Ninmann capping off the quarter with two of her own as the Raiders led 6-1 at the end of one.
- The Bluejays didn't waste time in the second, scoring just seven seconds in to cut their deficit to four. That would be their only shot on goal in the second as the Raiders erupted with five straight goals, two coming from Johnson, to lead at half 11-2.
- The Bluejays opened the second half with their third goal of the night but they were silenced from there. Ninmann would answer a minute later with Maggie Sanderson taking the feed from Alana Perry while being a man down to extend the lead 13-3 after three. Paige Calderone scored her first goal of her career to kick off the fourth, with Ninmann and Arial Lapsa finishing things with a goal each.
