MILWAUKEE – The MSOE men's lacrosse team clashed with the Aurora University Spartans on Saturday afternoon, as the Raiders fell to the preseason conference favorites in their first conference road trip of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (5–3, 1-1 NACC) fell behind Aurora (3-3, 2-0 NACC) after the Spartans tallied a goal just 35 seconds into the contest. The opposition would work their way to a 6-0 lead before Paul Brueck got the Raiders on the scoreboard with 5:49 left in the first quarter, cutting the MSOE deficit to five goals. With the Spartans ahead 9-1 in the second quarter, Graden Jansen would go coast-to-coast on a faceoff win, scoring the second goal of the game for the Raiders, who would go to the half trailing 13-2.
- The Raiders would tally three unanswered goals in the third quarter, with Will Malecha, Tom Farren and Dawson Smith each recording goals while trying to get the momentum back behind the Red and White. The Spartans however, would notch six more goals in the fourth quarter, running away with the win and handing MSOE their first conference loss of the season.
