VERONA, Wis. – The MSOE women's lacrosse team fell at Edgewood University Saturday as the Eagles went on a pair of early scoring sprees to pull away.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-10, 3-3 NACC) jumped out first at the 12 minute mark as Lilly Johnson fed Maggie Sanderson inside for the early lead. Edgewood closed out the final 5:09 of the first quarter on a five goal run to lead 5-1. Chloe Ninmann started a three goal run for the Raiders with Vayda Flower and Joce Katte following suit to cut it to a one goal game but the Eagles closed out the first half with three goals to make it 8-4 at the break.
- The Eagles opened the second half with another three goal run to lead 11-4. Sanderson connected on her second goal of the day late in the quarter with Ninmann also putting in her second of the day just 37 seconds later, making it 11-6 heading into the fourth. Two quick one from the Eagles extended the advantage with Ninmann breaking up the run to make it 13-7. After two more from the Eagles, Alana Perry and Johnson helped make one last push, but fell short after the Eagles put one in with 13 seconds remaining.
