HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Game One
    • Camden Hoier got things started in the bottom of the first for MSOE (23-7, 14-2 NACC), hitting an RBI single to score Charlie Claas and two batters later stealing home after a throw down from a steal from Kyle Mayberry for a 2-0 lead. In the third inning with bases loaded, Jake Franks ripped one into deep left center to clear the bases, before coming home after rundown to lead 6-0 after three.
    • The Raiders put up another four-spot in the fifth as Teo Greco and Ben Sullivan hit RBI singles and Quinn Zills hitting a deep sacrifice fly for a double-digit lead. Four more came across in the sixth as Greco hit a two-run double and Zills hitting another sacrifice fly. Preston Manthei capped off the scoring with an RBI single as Peter Adie closed things out in the seventh for the run-rule.
  • Game Two

    • The Raiders opened up the game in the fifth as Manthei brought in AJ Le on an RBI groundout. Robby Erickson continued to extend it with two-run single to make it 6-2. An insurance run came across in the eighth on a JJ Jackson single as Aagam Shah had a three-inning save to seal it.
