MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced the all-conference teams, along with the major awards for the 2026 men's volleyball season with four MSOE Raiders earning honors, along with
Callan Harris being named player of the year, along with coaching staff of the year, led by head coach
Shane Reid.
Reid in his eleventh season has led the Raiders to their best season since 2019, including the first regular season title in his tenure, along with a perfect record in conference play. The Raiders made three upsets this season, first coming on February 15
th against #7 UC-Santa Cruz, and final two being conference opponents #18 Dominican University and #9 Aurora University. In the NACC this season, the Raiders ranked first in kills per set (13.14), assists per set (12.38), and points per set (16.71), along with second in service aces per set (1.73) and third in hitting percentage (.279).
Harris, a junior from Wales, ranks second in the conference in kills per set (3.65) and points per set (4.25), while being second on the team in service aces (24) and digs per set (2.13). Harris has registered double-digit kills in 17 performances, totaling a season high 22 against Loras on January 23
rd and at Augustana on February 7
th. Harris also had six double-doubles on the season, having 16 kills and 20 digs in a four-set victory over St. Norbert College on April 1
st.
Seth Thomas, a senior from Wauwatosa, was named first-team all-conference, improving from last year where he earned second team honors. Thomas led the team with 33 service aces and was second on the team with 3.07 kills per set and third with 1.90 digs per set. Thomas posted four double-doubles this season, his best coming on January 28
th with 18 kills and 13 digs at Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Parker Rings, a junior from Centerville, Ohio, earned second-team honors for the second straight season, serving as the team's main setter for the third straight year. Rings averaged 9.74 assists per set with 20 kills on the year, also having 126 digs and 32 blocks. Throughout the season, Rings posted 16 30+ assist performances, including 55 assists in the upset victory over the Stars.
Matthew Schultz, a junior from Antioch, Illinois, earned second-team honors, his first all-conference honors of his career. Schultz was main stay near the net, averaging 0.84 blocks per set, also averaging 2.01 kills per set with a .409 attacking percentage. Schultz had five double-digit kills during the season, including a school record performance against Wisconsin-Stevens Point on February 15
th where he had 13 kills on 14 attacks for a kill percentage of .929.
The Raiders defeated No. 8 seed Concordia Wisconsin on Tuesday in the NACC Quarterfinal and will face No. 4 seed Benedictine University on Saturday, April 11
th at 2:00 p.m.
