MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The MSOE men's soccer team picked up the first win at Viets Field of the fall season as the Red and White shutout the Prairie Wolves of Nebraska Wesleyan University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders (1-3-0, 0-0-0 NACC) controlled the ball for most of the first half against the Prairie Wolves (1-1-0) but could not find the back of the net until the final two minutes of the first half, as Lachlan Ladd hustled to the goal line and placed a perfect pass for a header from Braedon Smith, putting the Red and White ahead 1-0 at the break.
- In the second half, the Raiders offense clicked at a much quicker clip. After two early shots went just wide of the goal each way, Nico Picha would finally find the back of the net on a beautiful strike to up the MSOE lead to 2-0. From there, the MSOE defense would hold strong, shutting down the Nebraska Wesleyan attack as Dean Schaefer and Christian Dershem combined for the first clean sheet of the season for the Red and White.
