GLENDALE, Wis. – In their last match before ITAs, the MSOE men's tennis team fell to Millikin University as
Andres Saavedra won both his singles and doubles matches.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Saavedra teamed up with Augusto Eiji Yamazaki at the No. 2 doubles spot, grabbing the win 6-3. Randy Funez and Carlos Lopez competed in the No. 1 spot, falling 6-3, while Pedro Rezende Mendes and Santiago Angulo fell 6-3 at the No. 3 spot for Millikin (3-0, 0-0 CCIW) to grab the doubles point.
- Saavedra and Funez each out on top in their singles match, battling in tie breaking matches. Saavedra at the No. 1 spot dropped the first set 6-2 before coming back to win 6-4 and then the tie breaking set 10-8. Funez at No. 2 won his first 6-2, falling 6-1 in the second, and came back to win 10-8. MSOE (0-2, 0-0 NACC) would drop the remaining singles matches.
