LINCOLN, Neb. – MSOE hit the mats for the last time in 2019 at the Prairie Wolf Duals in Nebraska. While they fell in two of their three matches, they did come away with their first win of the season over the course of Saturday afternoon.

TOP MATCH
MSOE (1-6) secured their first victory of the 2019-20 campaign over Central Christian College in the second match of the morning at the Prairie Wolf duals. The Raiders won by a single point in a match that featured two Red & White default victories and three head to head w's. Eddie Diaz Barragan took down Travis Weatherhead via a fall in 1:38, while Drew Matticks defeated Tyler Estep 10-2 and Helton Vandenbush bested his teammate's fall time with a decision in 48 seconds against Mason McCarty. Jack Rathburn and Chris Botzoc were the two Raiders that contributed points via their default wins.

The Raiders will be back in action on Jan. 4, 2020 at the Dubuque Duals. Their first match kicks off at 9:00 am on Saturday morning.
