HOW IT HAPPENED
The MSOE (4-3, 4-0 NACC) offense could not be denied during Saturday's late afternoon contest against Illinois Tech (0-6, 0-4 NACC) in the Windy City. The Raiders shot 51.7 percent from the field for the game and hit 11 three pointers, both totals easily season highs for the team. By the time halftime rolled around, the Red & White had all but secured the victory against the winless Scarlet Hawks. IIT scored only 11 points in the first two quarters and shot just 8.3 percent in the second frame. The Raiders scored over 20 points in each of the first three quarters, leading to four players scoring at least 13 points or more. Though there is still a lot of basketball yet to play this season, the Red & White currently sit atop the NACC alongside Edgewood after their 38 point thrashing of the Scarlet Hawks.
