ADRIAN, Mich. – The Raiders have had overtime fever lately. In their last five games they have played in three contests with an extra frame. Well you can make that four out of six now as a late #12 Adrian goal sent the game into OT and would end in a tie on Saturday afternoon in Michigan.

HOW IT HAPPENED
If you didn't know any better, you might think that the two box scores between last night and this afternoon's matchup were exactly the same. MSOE (6-4-4, 1-4-4 NCHA South) and #12 Adrian (8-4-3, 6-2-2 NCHA South) once again played a back and forth affair, but this time with the Bulldogs getting the head start. Adrian scored two goals in the first period with Matt Hanewall's first goal of the contest sandwiched between them. Each team put another tally on the scoreboard, with the Raiders score coming from Garrett Gintoli on the power play thanks to Jack Nickels and Hanewall. MSOE tied the game and took the lead in the second half of the third period when Hanewall scored two more times for the hat trick to give the Red & White the 4-3 advantage. However, a late penalty gave the Bulldogs a 6 on 4 opportunity with 90 seconds left and a empty net on the other end of the ice. Unfortunately, they converted with just 17 seconds left to go before the final horn. Overtime proved to be unfruitful for either side once more as the two teams tie both games of their weekend clash.

WHO'S ON DECK
