Box Score 2 CHICAGO – MSOE women's volleyball was back in action on Saturday afternoon, less than 24 hours after a tough fought battle against Edgewood. Thankfully, the results were different in today's road match as the Raiders took down Illinois Tech before falling Olivet in Chicago.

MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (20, 27, 25, 25)
Illinois Tech – 1 (25, 25, 19, 23)
Olivet – 3 (25, 22, 25, 25)
MSOE RAIDERS – 1 (20, 25, 15, 20)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Illinois Tech
- MSOE (12-7, 1-2 NACC) dropped the first set of the match to Illinois Tech (10-6, 2-1 NACC) but rebounded nicely. The Raiders came out on top in an extra points second set before winning the third and fourth to seal the deal.
- Italia Fields continued her strong play with 16 kills and 16 digs to lead all players in both categories.
- Quinn Borchert had four blocks while the Red & White had ten total aces in the 3-1 win.
- vs. Olivet
- Olivet (4-7, 0-1) was next up for the Raiders in a non-conference matchup. MSOE was able to win the second set after dropping the first but Olivet came back with the next two for their neutral site win.
- Borchert led the Raiders in kills this time with eight while hitting .286.
- 15 Red & White student-athletes saw the court and combined for 36 kills and 59 digs.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Red & White will finally play inside the Kern Center this season when they take on Wisconsin Lutheran on Tuesday. First serve is slated for 7:00 pm.
