LINCOLN, Neb. – It's been a busy month for MSOE wrestling and Saturday afternoon was no different. The Raiders traveled to Nebraska to battle in the Prairie Wolf Duals where they were competitive all day in their last meet of the 2021 calendar year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Nebraska Wesleyan
- MSOE (3-5, 1-1 CCIW) was extremely competitive in the opening bout of the meet as they took on host Nebraska Wesleyan.
- While the Red & White fell in six matches, they were able to pick up wins in four of them. Michael Smith (Dec 7-2), Max Sanderfoot (Fall), Jack Horihan (Fall), and Noah Verhaalen (Fall) were all victorious for MSOE.
- vs. Fontbonne
- The Raiders best match came in the second one of the afternoon when they defeated Fontbonne by 17.
- Connor Nagela (Dec. 7-1), Caleb Brick (MD 13-5), and Sanderfoot (Fall), all got wins for the Raiders while the Red & White also earned points via three Griffins forfeits.
- vs. Simpson
- MSOE struggled in the last match of the day, however. Simpson took it to the Raiders and defeated the good guys by 31.
- Smith and Horihan each earned points for the Red & White with wins via decision.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders won't return to the mats until Thursday, January 13th when they take on Concordia Wisconsin on the road starting at 7:00 pm.
