DE PERE, Wis. – MSOE women's volleyball continued their busy month of September when they visited St. Norbert for tri-match action. While the Red & White struggled against the Green Knights, they more than made up for it against Ripon as they took home split decisions on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• vs. St. Norbert
  • St. Norbert (3-6, 1-0 NACC) hit .361 in the first game of the afternoon.
  • Meanwhile, the MSOE (4-5, 0-1 NACC) offense struggled, attacking at a .041 clip.
  • Six different Red & White players registered at least two kills. Quinn Borchert led the way with seven.
  • Emma Braun and Italia Fields each reached double digits in digs with 11 and 10 respectively.
• vs. Ripon
  • With little to no turnaround time, MSOE battled back and took down Ripon (7-3, 0-0) in straight sets.
  • While the offense was not as efficient as they would like, both Borchert and Fields each had 10 kills while holding Ripon to a .036 attack percentage.
  • Amanda Yackley had 28 assists and Fields registered two of the Raiders five aces.

RAIDER REMARKS

• The Raiders have yet to win a game against St. Norbert in the all-time series.
• On the flip side, the Red & White have won their last five contests against Ripon.

The Raiders will head to Appleton this weekend to play in the Lawrence Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
