Box Score MILWAUKEE – With their last game taking place back on December 30th, MSOE women's basketball hit the court for the first time in 2022 hoping that they wouldn't have too much rust to shake off. Instead, they embarked on a high scoring battle with Marian and came away with their third NACC win of the season on Tuesday night inside the Kern Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a back-and-forth affair between MSOE (5-6, 3-2 NACC) and Marian (3-9, 1-5 NACC) this evening and a large part of that had to do with the Sabres uncharacteristic performance from behind the arc. Normally averaging 5.5 per game, Marian made a total of 12 tonight.
- Down by four entering the second half, the Raiders shot 47.5 percent in the last 20 minutes of play and turned the ball over just twice.
- The Red & White started the fourth down by just one and turned that deficit into an advantage quickly. MSOE scored 25 in the frame behind nine from Raekyiah Williams and seven from Nina Perl.
- Besides a last second shot, the Raiders held Marian scoreless for the last two minutes of the game in their seven-point conference victory.
RAIDER REMARKS
- This served as the Raiders 12th win in a row over Marian. MSOE hasn't lost to the Sabres since January of 2015.
- Chloe Kurkjian registered her first double-double of the season while Grace Ellington scored a career high 17 points.
