Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's volleyball was back at it after a 3-1 loss to Concordia Chicago on Friday and looking to reverse their fortunes against Dominican. Unfortunately, the Raiders couldn't get any momentum going in a straight sets loss to the Stars on Saturday afternoon.
RESULT
Dominican – 3 (25, 25, 25)
MSOE RAIDERS – 0 (21, 12, 19)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (3-15, 1-8 NACC) played well in the first set of the game but couldn't get any sustained momentum going against Dominican (6-14, 3-6 NACC). The Raiders hit .244 behind 15 kills but weren't able to string together any runs of more than two points at a time in a 25-21 loss.
- The second frame started off with a 4-1 Stars run which allowed them to grab a lead that they would not relinquish. The Red & White amassed just six kills in a 25-12 loss to go down two games in the matchup.
- The Raiders tried to rally back to force a fourth set with another 15 kills in a third stanza that saw seven ties and five lead changes. Unfortunately, two different 3-0 runs allowed Dominican to create enough distance between themselves and MSOE for the 25-19 win and the straight sets victory.

- The defeat puts the Raiders back into the loss column after taking down the Stars 3-1 last season. The Red & White are now 1-9 in their last ten games against Dominican.
