MILWAUKEE – MSOE women's volleyball closed out a lengthy homestand this evening inside the Kern Center and were looking to go out with a win over Concordia Wisconsin. While the Raiders rallied back in set one and almost took home the victory in set two, the Falcons were just too much for the Red & White in a 3-0 NACC loss on Tuesday night.

Concordia Wisconsin – 3 (25, 27, 25)
MSOE RAIDERS – 0 (18, 25, 6)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• MSOE got off to a slow start in the first set and were down 12-4 before the first Raiders timeout was called. While the reset did work for the Red & White, scoring 11 of the last 17 points in the set, it was too late in a 25-18 opening loss.
• The Raiders had ten kills in set two and engaged in a back-and-forth affair with the Falcons that included four ties and two lead changes. With MSOE leading 25-24, CUW called a timeout and won the next three straight points to seal the deal on an 27-25 victory.
• Nothing went right in the third and final set of the evening. The Raiders were outkilled 11-4 and registered just six points as they were swept in straight sets.
