FOND DU LAC, Wis. – MSOE women's basketball went in to the final game of the regular season looking to enter their first postseason trip since the 2018-19 campaign on a high note. Unfortunately, sloppy play and a lack of offense allowed Marian to hand the Raiders a double digit loss on Wednesday night in Fond du Lac.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• There was a combined total of 14 points scored in the first quarter this evening between MSOE (7-14, 5-10 NACC) and Marian (7-16, 5-12 NACC), though the Raiders were able to take away nine of those tallies and entered the second up by four.
• The odd numbered frames weren't the issue tonight for the Raiders as they scored 22 of their 37 total points in them. It was the even quarters that doomed the Red & White this evening. Their small lead was erased quickly in the second with the Sabres outscoring them 14-7 and MU held MSOE to single digits once again in the fourth 14-8.
• With that said, the Red & White were able to get within three points at the beginning of the final quarer but Marian went on a 14-6 run to close things out. 
• The Raiders didn't take a single free throw attempt and turned over the ball 23 times in their 11-point loss on the road.

RAIDER REMARKS

• MSOE and Marian split the season series with the Raiders taking the first game 71-64 at home back on January 11^th.
• Tonight's point total for the Red & White was the second lowest on the year.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders wrap up their regular season with a record of 7-14 and a 5-10 mark in NACC play. They will be the No. 10 seed heading into the postseason tournament and will take on No. 7 Rockford in Illinois at 2:00 pm on Saturday.
