Box Score DE PERE, Wis. – Having already clinched a NCHA playoff spot, MSOE men's hockey's plan for the final four games of the regular season was to secure as many points as possible in hopes of getting some sort of home ice advantage. They weren't able to move the needle against No. 5 St. Norbert however, as a big Green Knights third period gave the Raiders their first loss since January 21st.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The final score for tonight's contest doesn't truly represent how close this game was through two periods. While MSOE (10-10-2, 7-6-1-1 NCHA) didn't find the back of the net in the first 40 minutes of action, the Raiders defense kept No. 5 St. Norbert (19-3-0, 13-0-2-0 NCHA) in check by only allowing two goals.
- Unfortunately, the flood gates opened in the third period. The Green Knights lit the lamp four different times in an eight-minute span to take a commanding 6-0 lead.
- The Red & White were able to breakup the shutout with 1:25 left thanks to a power play goal by Kyle Herbster from Garrett Gintoli and Matt Hanewall but it wasn't nearly enough in their five-goal loss.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have now dropped three straight to St. Norbert. Their last win over the Green Knights came back in November of 2018.
