Box Score MILWAUKEE – Saturdays at home haven't turned out so well for MSOE women's basketball as of late with the Raiders blowing back-to-back double digit second half leads in two straight weekends. Not today, however. The Red & White dominated play and saw a long-standing record fall with a 17-point victory over the Cougars of Concordia Chicago.
FINAL SCORE
Concordia Chicago – 59
MSOE RAIDERS – 76
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-11, 5-7 NACC) once again started the game with an aggressive up-tempo offense and never backed away from that style of play against Concorida Chicago (6-13, 5-9 NACC). The Raiders shot 60 percent in the first quarter to jump out to a five-point lead after ten minutes.
- After a relatively low scoring second frame, the Red & White exorcised their third quarter demons and posted another 22 points but had to keep their foot on the gas with CUC still within striking distance.
- MSOE closed out strong though and didn't let the Cougars anywhere near the lead. The Raiders outscored their opponent by seven in the last quarter of play and went 30-49 from the field in the contest to walk away with a 76-59 victory at home.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have now won two of their last three games against the Cougars.

- The team as a whole had 25 assists, one short of tying the record of 26 which they posted against Dominican in 2009.
