Box Score PLYMOUTH, Wis. – MSOE women's volleyball was back in action for the first time since taking home their first win of the 2022 season on Saturday against Carroll (Wis.). This time the Red & White were looking to secure their inital NACC victory. Unfortunately, Lakeland had other plans. The Muskies used several runs throughout the contest to take down the Raiders in straight sets.

MSOE RAIDERS – 0 (16, 15, 18)
Lakeland – 3 (25, 25, 25)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (1-7, 0-2 NACC) was down by seven before they could even get a point for themselves up on the scoreboard to begin the game. Lakeland used a series of runs to take home the first set 25-16.
- Set two was unfortunately much of the same. The Raiders stayed within arms reach, but with the Red & White down by four at 19-15, the Muskies rattled off the next six points to win the middle frame 25-15.
- Down 4-0 to start the third, MSOE battled back to get within one early on. However, the Raiders couldn't string a consistent attack together as they lost set three 25-18 and fell to Lakeland in straight sets.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The loss to Lakeland was the first in the last three meetings between the two teams. Overall, the Raiders are 2-8 in their last ten against the Muskies.

The Raiders host the two day MSOE Invitational starting on Friday afternoon. Their first action in the home tournament will be at 8:00 pm on Friday when they take on Nebraska Wesleyan.
