FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 51
Marian – 58
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (3-11, 2-5 NACC) jumped out to a five point lead after ten minutes of play behind seven made shots from the field which included four from behind the three point line. Mahima Chokshi was on fire during the period with ten points and scored another four in the second quarter to give the Raiders a six point lead over Marian (4-10, 3-4 NACC) heading into halftime.
- The Sabres stormed back in the third stanza, erasing the Raiders lead with a lights out 75 percent shooting percentage. MSOE still scored 11 in the frame but faced a two point deficit with one quarter left to go.
- The Red & White defense did their job and held the Sabres to just 5-for-20 shooting in the fourth but unfortunately the Raiders offense couldn't help out the cause. MSOE shot just 15.4 percent and only scored seven points which sealed their fate in a seven point loss.
