MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's volleyball took Aurora University deep into all three sets unfortunately coming just short in all three to fall Saturday afternoon.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 0
Aurora - 3
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Aurora (14-9, 7-1 NACC) came out in a fast start with a 6-0 run to begin but MSOE (5-14, 0-8 NACC) made those points up and more having a 20-18 lead late with a kill from Ana Knutson. The Spartans weren't phased one bit coming away with the final points to sneak away with the final set 25-23. The Raiders started the second set competing well, the Spartans rattled off an 8-2 run to sit comfortably the rest of the set to win 25-17.
- The Raiders wouldn't go away staying tied at 14 all midway through the third set. While the Spartans hold held as much as a three point lead the rest of the way, it proved to be just enough as the Raiders just narrowly fall short 25-23 again.
