WAUKESHA, Wis. – The era of MSOE men's and women's swimming and diving commenced Saturday October 7
th at the Carroll Tri-Match with the host Pioneers and Lawrence University.

MEN'S TEAM RECAP
- The lone individual champion on the men's side came in the 100-yard butterfly from Chance Mason in a time of 59.43. The 200-yard freestyle relay of Mason, Spencer Guercio, Drew Esson, and Garin Schilling were also champions, winning the event in 1:37.73.
- The men had a multitude of top three finishers as well throughout the day with Mason adding a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:56.51. Schilling had two second place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle (23.72) and 100-yard freestyle (53.00), along with Jake Dahlgren (200-yard IM, 2:27.64) and Esson (100-yard butterfly, 1:00.03) each finishing third in their respective events.
WOMEN'S TEAM RECAP
- Ava Pike had two victories the day in the 50-yard freestyle (26.59) and 100-yard freestyle (58.98) for the two wins on the women's side. The Raiders also had depth in the 1,000-yard freestyle with Katie Herbst finishing in second (12:59.03) and Chloe Moran finishing in third (13:09.19), respectively.
- Herbst added another second place to her resume on the day in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:14.77, while the Raiders also had two third-place finishers in Sydney Balboni in the 200-yard freestyle (2:19.88) and Moran in the 100-yard backstroke (1:13.26).
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will have an off weekend before competing in the Wisconsin Showcase on October 21
st in Brown Deer.
