Raiders Continue Hot Start, Dispatch Foresters

MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's basketball team hosted Lake Forest College Tuesday night, coming off back-to-back wins against Belhaven and Elmhurst.  The Raiders dominated the contest start to finish behind 17 points from Mahima Chokshi.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • MSOE (3-1, 0-0 NACC) and Lake Forest (0-5) started the contest off competitively, with each team forcing turnovers and leading to several fastbreak chances.  The Raiders would take the first quarter 19-13.
  • The Raiders struggled from deep but were able to capitalize in the post with Raekiyah Williams putting up 10 points and hauling in 11 rebounds, while Dani Mendez scored 6 and added 12 boards..
  • Mahima Chokshi continued to lead the team in scoring this season, scoring seventeen points despite going 1 for 9 from three point range.
