MILWAUKEE – A true battle for 90 minutes comes up just for the MSOE men's soccer as they fall in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) championship to Dominican University.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 0
Dominican - 1
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams were dead even taking five shots total in the first half, but neither could find a way through. Only two shots from MSOE (16-2-3, 10-0-2 NACC) made it's way on goal, but saved by the Dominican (14-3-3, 9-1-2 NACC) goalie with ease.
- The Stars only had one shot on goal the whole game, coming in the 58th minute. That one shot proved to be the biggest difference maker as it slid right through to the left side for the lone goal of the match. The Raiders had 12 shots taken in the second half, with Nico Picha narrowly missing multiple times, but just couldn't make its way through.
