GLENDALE, Wis. – The MSOE baseball team stepped away from Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play for matchup with #19 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Wednesday evening. After a delayed start due, the Raiders rallied in late innings to force extra innings, but couldn't finish out the comeback falling to the Warhawks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- #19 Wisconsin-Whitewater (17-7, 7-5 WIAC) wasted no time getting on the board with a double in the top of the first bringing in the first run of the game early. The Warhawks added two more runs in the fourth inning with another double into left center extending their lead 3-0.
- MSOE (13-10, 5-7 NACC) made their way on the scoreboard in the bottom of sixth inning as Blake Hall stepped in to pinch hit with Sam Meidenbauer and Micah Overley on the bases. A shot into left center brought both around to score to cut to within one of the Warhawks. The Raiders seized another opportunity in the eighth inning as Collin Truitt sent a deep ball into left center bringing Overley all the way around from first to score to tie the game at three, forcing extra innings to be played.
- After a scoreless tenth, the Warhawks rattled the Raiders defense working multiple bases loaded situations, taking a 6-3 lead heading into the bottom half of the inning. The Raiders got two men on to being with just one out, but the Warhawk defense held for the final two outs.

- Both sides relied upon the bullpens as each squad used eight total arms.
