MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The MSOE women's basketball team looked to extinguish the Inferno of visiting Alverno College Wednesday night. The Raiders dominated from the jump, and 13 different Raiders scored a basket on the way to a lopsided 68-23 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (11-5, 5-2 NACC) and Alverno (2-13, 0-6 NACC) exchanged baskets to open the game before the Raiders immediately got to work on offense, following a Dani Mendez jumper, Skylar Flanagan would hit back-to-back threes, capping off a 12-0 run to give the Raiders a 15-2 lead early on. The Raiders would turn to Halena Hill and Raekyiah Williams to carry the load on offense in the second quarter, and after an Ella Mensen jumper shot, the Raiders went into halftime ahead 36-10.
- The Raiders bench got in on the action coming out of the half, holding the Inferno to just 10 points in the third quarter. Elly Kohl and Samantha Sterritt took advantage of mismatches generated in the pick and roll, with Kohl scoring a career high 11 points and Sterritt leading the team in blocks.
- The Raiders finished the contest shooting 42.1% from three, with Kohl going three for five. The Raiders outrebounded the Inferno 50 to 31, and had 13 more assists than the Inferno in a big conference win.
