MILWAUKEE – Battling the rain for almost the full 90 minutes, the MSOE men's soccer team shutout Illinois Institute of Technology in the opening round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tournament behind
Danny Aranda recording six points on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Each side fired off a shot a piece to start before Ditar Useni took the feed in the middle from Aranda for an early 1-0 lead. Asher Harris picked up a save minutes later before it was all MSOE (10-3-6, 8-2-2 NACC) the rest of the first as Adrian Manchado fired one into the middle for Aranda's first goal of the game as they headed into the break with a 2-0 lead.
- The Raiders continued their fast start in the second half when Aranda sliced through the Illinois Tech (9-7-3, 5-6-1 NACC) defense before passing it off to Lukas Schwenke for a slow roller to the low corner to make the game 3-0. Ten minutes was the final nail in the coffin for the Scarlet Hawks when Aranda took the rebound for his second goal of the game.
