RACINE, Wis. – The MSOE Men's Tennis team bounced back in a big way Saturday night against Wartburg, winning their first team event of 2024 in dominant fashion, 7-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE dropped their first doubles match of the day, as Miguel Lopez and Clark Rue were defeated in a back-and-forth slugfest 7-8. The Raiders would control their other doubles matches and after Alex Nakasato and Emilio Ulloa won their matchup, the Raiders were finally leading, 2-1.
- Several Raiders cruised to lopsided victories, as Rue won in straight sets (6-1, 6-1), as well as Jannik Michaelis (6-0, 6-3). Andres Saavedra continued to be a consistent winner for the Raiders, emerging victorious in straight sets. (6-3, 6-3)
- Nakasato won the first set of his singles bout 6-1 and held off a Wartburg comeback in the second set 6-4 for another Raider win, as MSOE emerged victorious for the first time since the resumption of the season.
