ELMHURST, Ill. – The MSOE Men's Tennis bounced back from a tough loss against Judson University with a statement shutout victory over the Blue Jays of Elmhurst University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Raiders saw success in a variety of ways, starting with Alex Nakasato and Carlos Calabuig-Patino bringing home an 8-2 doubles victory, before teammates Miguel Lopez and Clark Rue put in an impressive 8-0 effort to sweep the doubles matches on Friday afternoon, after a forfeit by Elmhurst in the final set.
- The Raiders continued to pummel the Blue Jays as Jannik Michaelis posted dominant 6-1, 6-0 score cards, before Bruno Martinez-Cabezuelo turned in a 6-2, 6-1 finish of his own. Tony Truong captured another Raider win after fighting to a 6-0, 6-4 finish. Rue was the lone Raider to have two victories on the day, winning a singles marathon (3-6, 6-2, 1-0) to secure a much needed bounce back win for the Raiders.
