RESULTS
MSOE RAIDERS – 17
Wisconsin Lutheran – 3

MSOE RAIDERS – 10
Wisconsin Lutheran - 2

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Game One
    • MSOE (23-11, 17-5 NACC) sent the message early in game one after loading the bases on the first three batters bringing all three to score for a quick 3-0 lead. Two more runs came in the second inning when Sam Meidenbauer doubled into left center and one more came in the third from Jack Kalitowski to put the Raiders up big 6-0 after three.
    • The ball began to fly in the fourth inning as Meidenbauer and Collin Truitt each blasted home runs for an 11-0 lead. Wisconsin Lutheran (9-29, 3-19 NACC) finally put up runs in the bottom half of the inning bringing in three but were shut out the rest of the way. Micah Overley got in on the long ball action as with bases loaded before Kyle Labedz scored on a passed ball, he blasted one over the right field fence for a 15-3 lead. Blake Hall and Meidenbauer each tacked on runs in the sixth to finish off the scoring in game one 17-3.
  • Game Two
    • Game two had a quieter approach, despite the Raiders scoring two runs in the first from Overley and Nolan Wojciechowski. Things didn't pick back up until the fourth as Hall and Chris Barnes each singled into center field for a 5-0 lead, but the Warriors broke their silence in the bottom of the fifth to cut their deficit to three.
    • The Raiders began to run away in the seventh inning when Hall cleared the bases on a double down the line before AJ Le got in on the action to take a 9-0 lead. Overley capped things off with his second home run of the day to finish off the Warriors 10-2.
