MSOE RAIDERS – 6
Benedictine - 3
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (7-3-2, 4-1-1 NACC) didn't hesitate to get on the board quickly as Danny Aranda fed Adrian Manchado to middle to keep his hot streak going to open the scoring in the 8th minute. Benedictine (3-5-1, 2-2-1 NACC) answered with a response scoring in the 14th minute but that didn't slow down the Red & White one bit as they answered with goals from Ditar Useni in the 16th minute and Lachlan Ladd in the 18th minute to make the score 3-1. As the first half was nearing a close, Loduca kept the scoring going as he scored twice in the final three minutes to blow the doors open, heading into the breaking leading 5-1.
- The Raiders didn't let the halftime break slow their momentum as Nico Picha just over a minute into the second half beginning got the scoring started once again to extend the lead to 6-1. The Eagles were able to cut into the deficit adding a penalty kick goal in the 55th minute and then added another in the closing minutes but overcome it any further.
