VERONA, Wis. – Heading on the road against the top seed, the MSOE men's soccer team upsets No. 1 Edgewood University with a pair of second-half goals to blank the Eagles and advance to the NACC Championship game for the third season in a row.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood (15-2-2, 12-0-0 NACC) outshot MSOE (13-5-3, 8-3-1 NACC) in the first half, making four shots compared to the Raiders' two. Christian Dershem was stout in the net, stopping all four while Tanner Cellio and Lachlan Ladd each couldn't get their shot through as the two went into the break scoreless.
- Less than three minutes into the second half kicking off, the Raiders struck as a midfield pass was sent all the way into the box for Cellio to just tap over to Ladd for a quick strike to make it 1-0. After over 20 minutes of silence, Nico Picha drove right down the center of the field and after his shot was block, he took his own rebound and sent it right back to Danny Aranda who sent it to the opposite corner of the goal to extend the lead to two. Dershem continued to be stout in goal for the Raiders, stopping all three remaining shots from the Eagles to seal it on the road.
