APPLETON, Wis. – The MSOE men's hockey did not slow down their high flying offense as they shutout Lawrence University on the road.
FINAL SCORE
MSOE RAIDERS – 6
Lawrence - 0
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (3-1-0, 2-0-0 NCHA) wasted no time to get on the board as Brennan Dickey sailed down the left side and rebounded his own shot and sent it to score 43 seconds into the game for the quick lead. Four minutes later, Ethan Mann would add to the lead as he sliced inside to make it 2-0. The Raiders found themselves on the powerplay midway through the period and after a long rebound made its way to Seth Bernard, he made it 3-0, which held at the first break.
- Lawrence (1-3-0, 0-2-0 NCHA) was able to slow down the Raider offense to begin the second period, but it didn't last long as they found themselves on another powerplay. Bernard was able to feed the puck near the goal for it to slip right to Rylan Jockims, making it 4-0 and the only goal of the period.
- The Raiders did not let up in the third period as seven minutes in, Jacob Bosse raced down the ice going coast-to-coast solo to bring the lead to five. With just 3:27 remaining in the game, Mann put the final nail in the coffin with a four-on-four goal.
