RACINE, Wis. – The MSOE Men's Tennis team's momentum was halted at the hands of the Carthage College Firebirds on Friday night, as the Red and White remain winless against the regional rival.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Firebirds took the opening matches, the Raiders captured their lone doubles victory of the evening as Joe Chong and Andres Saavedra combined for a razor-thin 7-6 victory over the Firebirds in the #1 Doubles spot.
- In singles, the Firebirds would lock up the victory in short order, taking the first three singles bouts of the evening to secure the win. Saavedra would nearly bring home a victory for the Red and White after dropping his first set 7-5. The junior would storm back in the second set for a one sided 6-1 win but fell in the tiebreaker, as Carthage would go take the rest of the singles matches in a shutout.

The Raiders will welcome the Duhawks of Loras College on Friday, March 1
st at Elite River Glen. Matches are set to begin at 3:00 P.M.
