MILWAUKEE – The MSOE women's lacrosse team opened up conference play Wednesday evening, falling to Lake Forest College after a massive run by the Foresters.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lake Forest (4-3, 1-0 NACC) went on a three-goal run to begin the game before Chloe Ninmann took the feed inside from Vayda Flower to make it 3-1. The Forester made a five-goal run to end the first to lead 8-1. The Foresters carried that momentum into the second, putting up four more goals to head into the halftime break leading 12-1.
- The Foresters continued to not let up in the second half, scoring four in the third and three in the fourth. Flower had the lone shot on goal in the second half but was saved by the Foresters' goalie.
