MILWAUKEE – In a game based on many scoring runs, the MSOE women's lacrosse team had their comeback erased as they fell to Edgewood College Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both defenses came out making stands to begin the game, as Edgewood (5-7, 4-2 NACC) held MSOE (2-10, 2-4 NACC) scoreless while only scoring two goals of their own. Right when the second quarter started, Anika Einbeck fed Maggie Sanderson inside for the first goal of the game with goals from Vayda Flower and Chloe Ninmann to follow to give the Red & White a 3-2 lead. After the Eagles scored two of their own in less than a minute, Ninmann tied things up at four with the fed from Flower. The Eagles closed the first half with two consectutive goals to take a 6-4 lead.
- Shades of the first half reappeared to begin the second half as the Eagles held the Raiders scoreless in the third quarter but only scored one goal of their own. Right after the fourth quarter started, Ninmann and Lilly Johnson scored two quick ones to cut the deficit to one, 7-6. Just a few minutes later, the duo struck again with them each scoring within 50 seconds of each other to take an 8-7 lead. With under ten minutes to play, the Eagles struck twice to take a 9-7 and didn't look back.
