Women Take Sixth at Phil Esten Challenge

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The MSOE women's track & field team took sixth at the Phil Esten Challenge on Friday, led by Jessa Alderman's second-place finish.

6th Place (27 pts)

RECAP 
  • Alderman finished second in the shot put, tossing 12.79 meters, while Katrina Wawrzyn finished fourth with 12.46 meters. Kylie Crum finished fourth in the hammer throw with 46.25 meters and Wawrzyn added another scoring place in sixth with 44.92 meters. Josephine Jacklin took fourth in the discus, getting a mark of 39.85 meters. On the track, Alexis Dorner finished eighth in the 800-meter run in 2:27.54. 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Raiders will now set their sights on the NACC Outdoor Championship, set to begin on Friday, May 2nd, hosted by St. Norbert College.
